Jehovah's Witnesses
A Christian-based evangelistic religious movement with nontrinitarian beliefs distinct from mainstream Christianity. Directed by the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses which exercises the final authority on all doctrinal matters for the religion. Witnesses assert that their beliefs are based on their own interpretations of the Bible, or the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. Their central belief is the imminent destruction of the present world order at Armageddon and the establishment of God's kingdom on earth, which they consider to be the sole solution for all problems facing humankind.
