The Daily is an e-newspaper published by News Corp for the Apple iPad. Unlike traditional newspapers, The Daily takes advantage of iPad's interactive and online features offering readers many enhanced experiences unattainable with paper based publications.

Rupert Murdoch and Eddy Cue, Apple VP of Internet Services, unveiled the much-anticipated iPad newspaper in New York on Febraruy 2, 2011. The subscription cost to The Daily can be billed to iTunes user accounts. Murdoch has devoted considerable resources to produce the e-newspaper, hiring high-profile editors and reporters and reportedly committing $30 million to the paper's first year.
