Guodian United Power Technology Company Limited

Restructured and established in 2007 as a state-owned high-tech company focusing on green energy industry and a leading supplier of total solutions of wind turbine generator systems. Originally, United Power was Longwei Power Generation Technology Service Co., Ltd - a joint venture with Westinghouse of United States since 1994 and later a joint venture with Siemens from 1998 to 2006 before restructuring to a state-owned enterprise in 2007.

United Power is wholly-owned by China Guodian Corporation Group, one of the five largest state-owned power generation groups in China and a Fortune Global 500 Company in 2010. Headquartered in Beijing, United Power owns five subsidiaries, three holding companies and six manufacturing and R&D bases in six cities across China, namely Baoding, Lianyungang, Chifeng, Baotou, Yixing and Changchun. Its main businesses range from design and research, manufacturing, to sales and services of large wind turbine generators.
