The 2012 Summer Paralympic Games are the 14th Summer Paralympic games and are taking place in between 29th August and 9th September, as governed by the International Paralympic Committee.

They are being held in the capital of the UK, London, after the city was successful with its bid for the Summer Olympic games. It is the second largest multi-sport event ever held within the United Kingdom after the 2012 Summer Olympics.

The 2012 Summer Paralympics uses a logo sharing a common design with that of the Summer Olympics. The logo, designed by Wolff Olins, was unveiled on 4 June 2007, and is a representation of the number 2012.
