A technique used in an invincibility window whereby a player will sit on top of an enemy and fire at it. Some games have limitations on how many of the player's bullets can be on screen at one time, so by reducing the travel distance of the bullets to nil you ensure that this limit will never be reached and you get the fastest possible fire rate.
