Convergence of two continental plate. Such a convergence between the Indian and Eurasian plates is responsible for producing the Himalayas.

The part of a coast that is washed by waves or tides, which cover it with sediments of various sizes and composition, such as sand or pebbles.
Change of tide

The change of one tide condition (rising or falling) for the other (falling or rising), or of one tidal current direction flow for the other.

The technology which is relevant to a country's level of development. The application of appropriate technology may lead to sustainable development.
Agonic line

A shifting, irregular imaginary line running through the Earth's north and south magnetic poles along which the compass needle points to true North.
