Anna Watkins

British female Olympic rower that won gold in the women's double scull at the 2012 London Olympics with her partner Katherine Grainger. Anna took up rowing at Cambridge University and subsequently became Under-23 champion in the women's coxless four. Her rowing career took off after pairing up with Grainger. The formidable pair won 2 consecutive World Championships and were named World Rowing Female Crew of the Year in 2011. Anna is currently studying for a phd in Mathematics.
