Expedia is an online travel company that provide customers with travel reservations for airline flights, hotel stays, car rentals, destination services, cruises, and other packaged travel. Expedia's portfolio of brands includes Expedia.com, hotels.com, Hotwire.com, the TripAdvisor Media Network, Expedia Affiliate Network, Classic Vacations, Expedia Local Expert, Expedia CruiseShipCenters, Egenciatm, eLong, Inc., and Venere Net SpA.
Expedia has recently stopped selling tickets for American Airlines, becoming the second major travel website after Orbitz Worldwide to fall out with carrier in as many months.
