Researchers at the University of Vermont in the United States have discovered that there are two new proteins in red blood cells that confirm the existence of two new blood groups which have been called Langereis and Junior. These new groups are common in East Asia, especially in Japan. It is estimated that over 50,000 Japanese are negative Junior.
