Druid

A druid was a member of the priestly class in Britain, Ireland and Gaul (France). Very little is known about ancient druids because they left no written accounts about themselves and there are only a few descriptions from Greek and Roman accounts. It is likely they performed human sacrifice, believed in some form of reincarnation, and that they held a high position in Gaulish society.
