misandry

The gender opposite of misogyny. Misandry can be defined as the irrational hatred or fear of men and boys. The term is often misused by self pitying males as a way of achieving victim status, born of a negative reaction to the positive strides taken in gender equality over the last 50 years. However this isn't to say that genuine misandry doesn't exist.
