Resolution

A measure of the level of clarity, or definition, that you can expect in a digital image. The resolution of a digital photo frame is often expressed as the total number of "pixels" (see "Pixel"), or "megapixels" (see "Megapixel"), or the number of columns of pixels multiplied by the number of rows, in the form, "640 x 480", for example. In any case, the higher the resolution, that is the total number of pixels, the higher the quality of the image that you can expect.
