stars
Stars are a luminous conjunction of plasma held together by gravity. The light that comes from the stars is produced by thermonuclear fusions of hydrogen in its core. During the supernova nucleosynthesis (the explosion of the stars), most element heavier than helium were created. A star is formed when a mass of hydrogen, helium and other substances in less quantities become enough dense, and a process of nuclear fusion occurs converting hydrogen in helium.
