"Are you guys ready? OK. Let's roll!" was the last thing said by Todd Beamer, one of the passengers who fought hijackers aboard Flight 93, before the plane crashed near Shanksville Pennsylvania on September 11, 2011. The remark was overheard by a telephone operator while the passengers were preparing to charge the cockpit. "Let's roll" became a battle cry that resonated with Americans in the days after 9/11. The terrorists who hijacked Flight 93 planned to crash it into the White House or the U.S. Capitol but were thwarted by passengers aboard the plane who learned of the World Trade centre and Pentagon attacks via cell phone calls and decided to fight back.

Former President Bill Clinton used "let's roll" ten years later to mobilise citizens to contribute to the fund for building the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pa.
