Horn
Generic term for the various sound devices (bells, one-tone or two-tone horns, etc.) fitted to traction units. The horn is not to be used unless necessary. Aside from those cases where the horn is used for signalling or in accordance with other regulations, the driver automatically uses the horn whenever he realises that the approach of his train is endangering certain people that seem to be taking their time getting out of the way of the train.
