Gloss mark

Gloss is the shiny appearance of a moulded part's surface. Differences in the gloss finish of a part are caused by different projection behaviours of the plastic at the mould wall, due to different cooling conditions and shrinkage differences. You can remove dull surface patches by drying the material, decreasing the injection speed or increasing back pressure.
