Luge

Luge is a one or two person sport in which the participants ride a small sled feet first and face up down an ice slope or street. Because of the high speeds attained luge is timed to the thousandth of a second, it is an Olympic sport.

In Luge competitions the major events include: the men's individual race, the men's doubles race, women's individual race, the woman's doubles race and in some competitions a team event.
