Table tennis
Table Tennis is a sport, played on a table bisected by a low net, in which players hit a lightweight ball using small rackets to volley the ball back and forth with the object of completing a move your opponent is unable to return.

A player loses a point because they make a mistake but not because of an excellent shot by the other player.
Side line

A white line that runs along its outer edge of the table. It is important for determining if a ball is in or out of bounds. If the ball hits any part of the line it is in-bounds.

Topspin backhand

The ball descends quickly and it increases its speed forward after it has bounced. This makes it hard to return.
Smash

This is an offensive stroke that is hit hard and straight with very little spin.
