Why would anyone in their logical mind want to contribute to TermWiki?

Saw it on proz that this is all part of Google's strategy to collect terms to use in their automatic machine translation system.

Hi eutrans, I think there are several reasons why someone would want to contribute to TermWiki. # You can get exposure to potentially millions of visitors to the site. Unlike Wikipedia which hides the contributor info, TermWiki gives contributors a chance to shine and to market themselves (of course also holding them responsible for the quality of their content.) # You might have benefited somehow from the content on the site so it’s not that bad to give something back to your fellow community as others have worked hard to make the site useful for everyone. # You can store your favorite terms using TermWiki so you always have a single place to access them from anywhere in the world. More importantly, those terms may get improved, translated for you by others on the site. # The pride someone can have to contribute to a social learning site so that people anywhere can learn and benefit from that knowledge. # Just to have fun, make friends and build your professional network!
