The yacht consumes about 14% of the fuel a conventional superyacht would consume and can travel up to 6,400 km without refueling. Only about 20% of the boat is submerged in water, reducing the drag that many traditional superyachts face and allowing Adastra to go up to 43 km/hour.

Adastra won three prizes at the ShowBoats Design Awards as well as the Most Innovative Design award at the 2013 World Superyacht Awards.
