Anorith is an aquatic, arthropod-like, greenish-gray Pokémon which uses eight flexible, white-and-red-tipped lobes on both sides of its body to propel itself through the water. Its large head had one pair of large, beady eyes, extending from the side. In the middle of the head is a round black pattern with two red spots. Two large, segmented claws also protrude from its head, serving as either defence against predators or attack against prey. These claws eventually turn to the fossil that can be used to revive the Anorith. Anorith's carapace is gray, and Anorith's tail is small with two grey spikes. Anorith has a pattern on the underside of its body that resembles a screw in shape.
