Astrid Kirchherr

Astrid Kirchherr (born 20 May 1938) is a German photographer and artist and is well known for her association with The Beatles and her photographs of the band during their time in Hamburg. She was engaged to Stuart Sutcliffe, an early member of the Beatles, but he died suddenly at the age of 21 from a brain haemorrhage. Kirchherr now works as a photographer in Hamburg.
