The China Youth Daily (Chinese: 中国青年报, pinyin: zhōnggúo qīngnián bào) is a popular official daily newspaper and the first independently operated central government news media portal in China. The newspaper was established in 1951 and today has a circulation of nearly 1 million copies per day. It targets the young generation in China and covers political, social and economic news.
