(1980- ) Christina Maria Aguilera is an American singer and actress. She started her career in the TV show The Mickey Mouse Club when she was 13. She launched her debut album Christina Aguilera in 1999, one year later came her second album Mi Reflejo (2000), and her third one My Kind of Christmas (2000). The fourth one, Stripped (2002), was more like she wanted, as was starting to take the control of her career. In 2006 she presented her fifth album Back to Basics and in 2011 her sixth one, Bionic. Christina made her film debut in 2010 in the musical Burlesque. She has also worked for fashion firms and she has launched her own perfumes.

In 2009 Aguilera became the global spokesperson for World Hunger Relief and in 2010 she became UN ambassador for the World Food Programme. She also collaborates with several NGOs and charity foundations. She is also a supporter of the LGBT community and is considered a gay icon.

She married Jordan Bratman in 2005 and she gave birth to their son, Max Liron Bratman in 2008.
