Chuck Norris
(1940- ) Chuck Norris's real name is Carlos Ray Norris. He is an American actor (he says that he has Irish and Cherokee ascendants) specialised in martial arts. He was a member of the United States Air Force, and after he left it, he founded his own school (Chun Kuk Do) and started his acting career.
In 1969 Chuck made his acting debut in the film The Wrecking Crew, but it was not until 1972 when he became really famous thanks to the movie Way of the Dragon, where he played Bruce Lee nemesis. After several films, in 1993 Norris began shooting the series Walker, Texas Ranger. For all this he has an image of a "tough guy", so a movement called Chuck Norris facts spread through the internet making fun of that image of him.
He is a politically conservative and a fanatic Christian (he has written several books about it) and he has donated to a number of Republican candidates and causes, and he also writes a column for the conservative website WorldNetDaily.
He was married to Dianne Holechek since 1958 to 1988, and had 2 children with her. In 1998 he married the model Gena O'Kelley and had twins with her. Also he had a daughter in 1964 with another woman while he was married to his first wife, but he didn't meet her until she was 26 years old (although he knew that he has a daughter since she was 16).
