Coordinated Eastern Arctic Experiment (CEAREX)
A multi-national and multi-platform field programme carried out in the Greenland and Norwegian Seas (north to Svalbard) from Sept. 1988 through May 1989. It was a collaboration between Canada, Denmark, France, Norway and the United States and consisted of four phases: the Polarbjorn Drift Phase, the Whaler's Bay/SIZEX Phase, the Oceanography Camp Phase, and the Acoustic Camp Phase.
