Cosmopolitan
A cosmopolitan, or informally a cosmo, is a cocktail composed of vodka, Cointreau, lime juice and cranberry juice. Its origins are disputed but it is thought to have been developed in the 1970s. The cocktail gained popularity in the 1990s due to the television program, Sex and the City, in which the characters often enjoyed a cosmopolitan.
