David Copperfield is Charles Dickens' eighth novel, published between 1849 - 1850. it follows the life of David Copperfield from childhood to maturity and is probably the most biographical of all of Dickens' works. It is the first Dickens novel to be written in the first person and Dickens himself remarked that it was the favourite of his books.
