David S. Broder
David S. Broder was a journalist, writer and lecturer. He won the Pulitzer Prize for commentary in 1973. Since the 1960 presidential race between Kennedy and Nixon, Broder has reported on every presidential campaign until his death on March 9, 2011.
Broder began his career after graduating from the University of Chicago, where he received his BA in Liberal Arts and his MA in Political Science. In 1965 he joined the New York Times, only to leave 15 months later for the Washington Post. Broder has appeared on NBC's Meet the Press interview programme over 400 times, the most appearances by any guest.
He died of diabetes complications at 81 years old.
