Edward Bach

(1886 -1936) Edward Bach was a British physician, homoeopath and spiritual writer, who is famous for his alternative medicines called Bach flower remedies which consists in the dissolution of parts of flowers in different liquids.

Bach studied medicine at the University College Hospital in London and he obtained a Diploma of Public Health (DPH) at Cambridge. In 1930 he wanted to find an alternative healing method, so he started to experiment with flowers. Bach only used the parts of the plants where was the energy of the plant.

For Bach the origin of the illnesses was the conflict between the personality of an individual and its soul, which caused a block of energy and a loss of harmony and then the appearance of physical symptoms.
