The Eiffel Tower
A puddle bars located in the Champ de Mars in Paris. Built in 1889, the building has become an icon of the French worldwide, and became one of the most recognizable buildings in the world. The tower is the tallest building in Paris and paid monument most visited in the world; millions of people menaikinya each year. Named after its designer, engineer Gustave Eiffel, the tower was built as the entrance arch to the 1889 world's fair. The tower stands 324 meters (1,063 feet), almost as high as 81-story building. During its construction, the Eiffel Tower and defeat the Washington monument as the tallest man-made structure in the world, a title he held for 41 years, until the building of the Chrysler building in New York City in 1930. However, due to the addition, in 1957, the antenna at the top of the Eiffel Tower, this building is now taller than the Chrysler building. Without antenna broadcast, this building is the second tallest structure in France, after the Millau Viaduct. The Tower has become a symbol of Paris and most of France, and is often used in the making of the film in the city.
