Genesis
The Genesis was Sega's entry into the fourth generation of home video game consoles. Much like the previous generation, Sega's entry did well in the PAL regions but lost out in Japan and North America. Genesis sold approximately 40 million units, although surprisingly, alternative versions of the console are still being produced and sold over 20 years since it launched.
