Historical period dating from c. 1714 - c. 1790; Style of the period reflects the British interpretation of Palladianism (early), the Rococo (mid) and Neo-classicism (late) . A form of architecture and decoration associated with the four kings George of England (1714-1810). It combines Renaissance, Rococo and neo-classical elements, with predominantly classical elements. The revival of Palladianism, manifested in furniture by the placing of classical pediments on cabinets, took place during this period.
