Hodgkin lymphoma is characterised by progressive enlargement of the lymph nodes, spleen, and general lymphoid tissue and by the presence of large, usually multinucleate cells of unknown origin called Reed-Sternberg cells. In people with HIV, Hodgkin lymphoma is an AIDS-related cancer.
