House of Hanover
The House of Hanover was a German royal dynasty that ruled over parts of Germany and the United Kingdom. The house became monarchs of the United Kingdom in 1714 and it was the ruling dynasty until 1901 with the death of Queen Victoria. There were seven monarchs in total and the line eventually ended after World War I.
