July Monarchy
The July Monarchy was a period of liberal constitutional monarchy in France between 1830 to 1848. This period was ruled over by King Louis-Philippe, who reigned until his abdication in 1848. Instead of being followed by his grandson, the Second French Republic was announced and Louis-Philippe lived in exile in England.
