Karl-Friedrich Stracke is a German engineer. He was born on June 22, 1956 in Lichtenfels-Goddelsheim and was the Chairman of the Management Board & Chief Executive Officer of Adam Opel AG from 11th April 2011 till 12th of July 2012. As Chief Executive Officer he was in charge of all operations of Opel worldwide.
He began his career as a mechanical engineer in the area of body-in-white construction in 1979. After that he studied at the GM University in Flint, USA.
