King Richard III

Richard III (2 October 1452 – 22 August, 1485) was King of England for a short reign of just two years, from 1483 until his death in 1485 during the battle of Bosworth Field. He is the last King of the House of York and the last of the Plantagenet Dynasty. Richard III was defeated in battle by Henry Tudor, marks the end of the middle ages in England, and began the Tudor rule, which lasted until Queen Elizabeth I died childless in 1603.

Richard III were buried without pomp. The former tomb is said to have been destroyed during the Reformation, and his remains were lost for more than five centuries. By 2012, scientists extracted genetic material from remains discovered in a car park on the former site of the Greyfriars Abbey, where the beaten body of Richard then buried after his death at the battle of Bosworth in 1485. Curvature of the spine on skeleton detection rate matches the description of hunchbacked. The conditions would have caused a man's right shoulder is higher than the other, described as a contemporary of Richard. King Richard III of reinterment was conducted at Leicester Cathedral in March 2015.
