Kismot Killer curry
The Kismot Killer curry is a special curry recipe produced by the Kismot Indian restaurant in Edinburgh. It claims to use the hottest chillies in the world.
The curry is only prepared for special contests with an eye to raising money for childrens charities. Contestants are challenged with eating several bowls of the food over several rounds.
The contest has caused some controversy recently as the curry is hot enough to cause severe abdominal pain requiring medical attention. The competition held in October 2011 attracted the attention of the Scottish Ambulance Service when two of the participants had strong adverse reactions.
