The Microsoft Surface is a tablet-notebook hybrid that is available with ARM and Intel Ivy Bridge CPU. The display is 10.6 inches big and has a 10:9 display resolution.

The operating system is Windows 8 RT that can only run Metro applications that are available in the Windows App Store. Due to its limitations regular Windows applications cannot be executed on the RT tablet. The Intel Ivy Bridge CPU with its x86 architecture is powered by Windows 8 Pro, a fully featured operation system that can execute common desktop applications such as web browsers like Opera or Chrome.

The Surface will also have a detachable keyboard in different colours and full USB 3.0 support.

The price will be 600 US-Dollar for the ARM version and 1000 US-Dollar for the Intel version.
