The Monaco series, introduced in 1969, in honour of this unique Grand Prix whose original track is a very special experience for drivers. Its water-resistant square case - the first in watchmaking history - houses the Chronomatic, the world's first automatic chronograph movement with a microrotor. Steve McQueen had an empathy for this audacious, rebellious watch and in 1970 chose to wear it in the film "Le Mans", dedicated to motor racing.
