NorCap (as in Northern Capital, a translation of 'Beijing') helps American undergraduate students, recent graduates, professionals, and graduate students find internships in Beijing, China. Through personal consultation, the company gets to know applicants and identify internship opportunities based on each candidate's background and goals.

NorCap is run by Bailey Carroll, a graduate of Yale University whose Beijing years include the Richard U. Light Fellowship, Harvard-Beijing Academy, and IUP at Tsinghua University. NorCap was also founded by Max Klein, a graduate of Cornell University who currently works as policy manager at the U.S. Information Technology Office (USITO). Max has been the Beijing Internship Coordinator for Cornell University's China and Asia-Pacific Studies (CAPS) program for three years. Bailey and Max started this company based on their experiences and enjoyment helping other students and young professionals find their feet in Beijing.

NorCap's staff also includes a well-connected advisory board that consists of seasoned professionals in journalism (Beijing's New Yorker magazine correspondent), hospitality (head of hospitality practice for SinoTech, an online marketing firm), media, entertainment (an agent at Creative Artists Agencies, the world's largest entertainment agency), education (director of sales at English First Beijing), and entrepreneurship.
