Ohio, with the nickname "The Buckeye State," is a Midwestern state in the United States. It is the 34th largest state by area in the U.S. and is the 7th-most populous. The state's capital is Columbus but other major cities are Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, Akron, Dayton, Parma, Youngstown, Canton, and Lorain. Ohio's neighbours are Pennsylvania to the east, Michigan to the northwest, Ontario Canada, to the north, Indiana to the west, Kentucky on the south, and West Virginia on the southeast.
