Phoebe Buffay is a fictional character from the television sitcom Friends, portrayed by Lisa Kudrow. The character is a masseuse and musician who leads an alternative lifestyle and grew up on the streets as a child. In season 9 she is introduced to the new character of Mike Hannigan and the couple go on to marry.
