(1981 - ) Armando Christian Pérez is an American (he was born to Cuban immigrant parents) rapper, singer-songwriter and record producer. His first recorded performance was in 2002 from the Lil Jon album Kings of Crunk. He has five albums: his debut album M.I.A.M.I. (Money Is a Major Issue, 2004), El Mariel (2006), The Boatlift, (2009), Rebelution (2007, Armando, (2010) and Planet Pit (2011).

He also host a TV programme called La Esquina (The Corner) and in 2005 he co-founded Bad Boy Latino, (subsidiary of Combs' Bad Boy Records label). He has also collaborated with several singers featuring their songs as Paulina Rubio, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira among others.
