Quebec is a province in east-central Canada. It is the only Canadian province whose sole official language is French and the only province with a predominantly French-speaking population.

Quebec is Canada's largest province by area, and second most popular province, after Ontario. The province is bordered by Ontario, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick and the United States. Its capital is Quebec city and its largest city is Montreal.
