Roberto Baggio

Born on February 18, 1967, Robert Baggio is a retire football player. He was known for being skilled as a forward in the game. In 1993, Baggio won both the FIFIA World Player of the Year award as well as European Footballer of the Year. He was one of the world's most expensive players at that time. On December 16, 2002, Baggio scored his 300th goal of his career. At the time, only two other players in football history reached that mark, Piola with 364 goals by the end of his career and Meazza with 338. Baggio is also noteworthy for being the only Italian to have ever scored during three World Cups, and infamously known for missing the penalty kick in the 1994 FIFA World Cup, losing the game (and trophy) to Brazil. Baggio became known in football history for his famous ponytail hairstyle.
