Roh Tae-woo
Roh Tae-woo (born 4 December 1932), is a former army general, politican and was President of South Korea from 1988 to 1993. Roh oversaw the 1988 Summer Olympic Games in Seoul and declared the games open as President. Roh was later sentenced to a 22 year prison sentence for treason, munity and corruption in 1996 but was released in December 1997 by President Kim Dae-jung.
