Rubik's Cube
Rubik's Cube, also called "Magic Cube," is a 3-D mechanical puzzle invented in 1974 by professor of architecture and Hungarian sculptor Ernő Rubik. The cube consists of six faces covered by nine stickers, each of one of six solid colors; white, red, blue, orange, green, and yellow. A pivot mechanism enables each face to turn independently, thus mixing up the colors. For the puzzle to be solved, each face must be returned to consisting of one color.
It is considered to be the best-selling toy in the world, selling over 350 million.
