Serena Williams
Serena Jameka William is a professional tennis player from the United States. She was born in 1981 and turned pro in 1995.
She became the world number one for the first time in 2002 and regained this rank for the fifth time in 2009.
In 2012 she won the women's singles at the Wimbledon Championships in the UK.
Williams is primarily a baseline player and is considered to have a very offensive playing style.
Serena published with her sister, Venus Williams, a book titled Venus & Serena: Serving From The Hip: 10 Rules For Living, Loving and Winning in the year 2005.
